After the workshop of separating glass by color, which was held at OPG Peublo Escondio in Lončari during the arrival of artist Dodd Holsapple, work on the art installation that will be located near the River Bijela is ongoing.
Holsapple will be part of the drywall construction workshop that will be held on Saturday, September 30 at the approach to the canyon of the River Bijela. It is part of the creation of his art installation, which, in addition to drywall, will also consist of glass mosaics collected in eco-activities, and together they will form a space for sitting, socializing and talking.
The workshop will be led by members of the Dragodid association, who will teach about the use of traditional construction techniques.
The use of drywall in an art installation aims to nurture and value drywall construction as a cultural heritage, but also to encourage their further restoration and valuation in terms of tourism.
In addition to the practical, there is also an educational part of the program aimed at informing local residents and visitors about the values of natural and cultural heritage. A hot meal is provided for all participants.
